Objective: To test comparison and evaluation of different components of corn steep liquor of polymyxin E fermentation production.Methods: more sticky bacillus as object, through different producers of corn steep liquor contrast test four factors and three levels orthogonal test to determine the polymyxin E fermented corn steep liquor raw materials ratio of components and the best formula. Results:the best components of the use of the raw materials of strains of corn steep liquor and the matching condition:cystine 1700mg/100g, isoleucine 1050mg/100g, isoleucine serine 950mg/100g, histidine 1300mg/100g. Conclusion:corn steep liquor quality of fluctuations is causing polymyxin E fermentation units, one of the important reasons to maintain the stability of the fermentation level of different origin production of corn steep liquor must shake flask test, to determine the optimum corn steep liquor used in the production.

BACKGROUND:The bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2)/vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) dual gene activated nanobone putty has been constructed in the previous experiments. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of osteogenesis and osteogenic gene expression in mice by implanting BMP2/VEGF dual gene activated nanobone putty. METHODS:Twenty-four Kunming mice (48 sides) were randomly divided into four groups. Animals in each group (12 samples) were injected different materials into the right thigh muscle pouches:nanobone putty+hBMP2/VEGF plasmid;nanobone putty+hBMP2 plasmid;blank plasmid+nanobone putty;nanobone putty only. The effects of osteogenesis were evaluated by radiography, histology and molecular biology analysis in 2, 4 weeks after operation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Bone-like tissues were observed in groups of nanobone putty+hBMP2/VEGF plasmid and nanobone putty+hBMP2 plasmid after operation. Different methods of heat treatment steam temperature jet cooking on the normal corn product''s physic-chemical properties were investigated. The results indicated that the average size and the rate of precipitation of the corn steep liquor decreased as the steam jet cooking temperature rose , while the viscosity and amylase content of liquor increased, and the liquor color became light gradually. As a result, the steam jet cooking can reduce the particle size of corn steep liquor and effectively increase in the stability and suspension of corn steep liquor.

The fermentation process of bacterial cellulose (BC) was studied in this paper by use of dried corn steep liquor powder as a single nitrogen source and Gluconacetobacter xylinus Gyll as a strain. This paper concentrated on the buffering capacity of dried corn steep liquor powder ,changes in the pH-value and BC output. The results shows that after dissolving dried corn steep liquor powder in aqueous solutions and fermentation medium respectively and additive amount exceeding 50.0 g/L and 40.0 g/L , the buffer index (β) is more than 0.02. This illustrates system has better buffering capacity. And in the fermentation process , system can keep the pH-value at suitable scope of growth for Gluconacetobacter xylinus Gyll that can help increase the BC output.
