The prefabrication and shipment of large caisson is difficult under the condition of lacking for foreign equipment re-sources. Taking Cambodia coal-fired power plant project as example, this paper introduces the technologies of prefabricating caisson in the cofferdam and floating crane lifting caisson, overcomes the limitation of traditional shipping way, and realizes the possibility of caisson prefabrication and shipment without precast yard and the special facilities for shipping. It introduces the calculating and key technique of construction of lifting point setting, sealing and submerging installation process over the floating crane lifting caisson operation. The successful practice of this project provides references for the prefabrication and shipment of large caisson abroad.

为研究深水海洋工程船起重工况下的索附加动力载荷,选取我国第一艘深水起重铺管船“海洋石油201”作为研究对象,运用三维势流理论以及基于三维面元法的水动力程序分析了船舶的运动响应传递函数,进行了起重工况下运动响应短期预报,推导了头运动下的物运动方程,计算了载荷传递函数,并利用短期预报公式计算了索附加动力载荷短期预报值分析。该研究为起重铺管船的设计提供了参考,并提供了一种适合深水起重船附加动力载荷计算的可行方法。
In order to study additional dynamic load of a lifting rope in a deepwater pipelay crane vessel, the first Chinese deepwater pipelay crane vessel, Haiyangshiyou 201, was used as a case study in this paper. The researchers applied the assumption of 3D potential flow theory and the 3D panel method program to compute motion response re-sponse amplitude operator( RAO) and predict short term response during craning. Motion response equations of lifted objects were derived and load RAOs were carried out. Next, short term prediction value of additional dynamic load was computed using short term prediction formula. The research provides reference to the design of pipelay crane ves-sel, as well as an available method for calculating additional dynamic load suitable for deep water crane vessels.

Crane ship suffers from environmental disturbance including wind wave and current dur-ing the offload operations, meanwhile, the parameter of the model varies. Thus a robust control algorithm is needed for dynamic positioning with respect to this class of vessel. This paper focused on“Offshore Oil 201 DPVs Crane Ship”. Firstly, a nonlinear mathematical model with parametric uncertainty and unknown disturbance was established. Secondly, a method combined dynamic surface control and active disturbance rejection control was proposed to utilize dynamic positioning for crane ship. Finally, simula-tion results indicate that the controller has strong robustness and anti-disturbance ability.

Deepwater crane vessel is necessary equipment for the installation of offshore wind driven gen-erator and the development of ocean petroleum and gas. This paper investigated the lifting process of a se-mi-submersible crane vessel with 16 000 t lifting capacity by numerical and experimental analysis. Nu-merical analyses based on 3D potential flow theory in both frequency and time domain were carried out for full-lifting and empty-lifting configuration during lifting operation. Corresponding model tests were also performed in deep water basin of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The comparison between numerical and experimental results shows that the response amplitude operator and time series agree quite well. The se-mi-submersible crane vessel has very favorable hydrodynamic behavior in considered sea state and the loads of equipments are allowable.

This paper provides an overview on the DPV power system. The application and features of power management system (PMS) is elaborated and researched. The PMS functions are analyzed such as generator control and monitoring, load sharing, start blocking of heavy consumers, blackout restart, and consumer load limitation. This paper can provide a reference for the PMS design of dynamic positioning vessel.

The 4000t deepwater pipelay crane vessel designed by China National Offshore Oil Corporation is the first pipelay crane ship, which can work in deep waters in China. In this paper, its hull form is optimized by the method in which empirical analysis is combined with numerical simulation. With three types of considerations, respective optimized hull forms are obtained. Then numerical method is adopted to analyze the optimal hulls. In the flow fields, there are no large eddies by the sterns for all the three optimized hulls. In addition, resistance performances were found to be better than that of original hull. The result proves the success of optimization for original hull form.
