Analyzes the reasons of this problem, through the analysis of the correlation between SO3 and acid dew point temperature, and between excess air coefficient and SO3 or SO3 conversion ratio, and deduce the relationship between the acid dew point temperature and the excess air coefficient, and get the practical data and a better solution to this problem.

Flue gas dew point is the key indicator of low temperature corrosion, and restricts deep utilization of boiler flue gas heat. Fouling of heat exchanger surface is a major factor in deterioration of heat transfer. When fluid flows across heat exchange tubes, fouling and acid condensation influence heat transfer of heat exchanger. In the flue gas environment with dust and acid, a hot-state test was conducted to analyze heat transfer characteristics at different outer wall temperatures, and the dew point of flue gas for engineering application was obtained with a higher use value. The influence of the tubes’ heat transfer characteristics with varying fouling and acid condensation was determined. Ash deposition with different amounts of acid condensation was investigated through analyzing the ash samples at different outer wall temperatures. The value of applied dew point for engineering was given as 72℃, which was at least 35℃ lower than the acid dew point in thermodynamics.

The composite hollow heat pipe can effectively solve the problem of acid dew corrosion of heat exchanger equipment comprising ordinary gravity heat pipe,and has an important application in recycling waste heat of low temperature flue gas. A heat transfer experimental platform of composite hollow heat pipe was established,and the heat transfer characteristics of condensation section were investigated experimentally. A stainless steel tube of total length of 1080mm with methanol was studied. Electrical heating was used in the evaporation section and water cooling was used in the condensation section. Wall temperatures and inlet and outlet temperatures of cooling water were measured with K type thermocouples. Vapor saturation pressure in heat pipe was measured by vacuum pressure sensor. The effect of two parameters : filling rate (15%≤V+≤40%) and evaporator heat flux (9.48kW/m2≤q≤37.91kW/m2) on the heat transfer characteristics of condensation section were investigated. When

Combined with a Cortex-M3 ARM processor,a capacitive sensor based on MEMS technology is proposed for constructing a capacitive water vapor measurement system, which is used to achieve precision humidity measurement in atmospheric environment. A 24-bit∑-△ADC is applied to measure temperature. By cooling a ther-moelectric cooler which is modulated by voltage,the temperature of TEC’s surface with the MEMS sensor can be precisely controlled. When the temperature of MEMS sensor reaches the dew point,dew will emerge on the MEMS structure,which induces the increment of MEMS capacitance. A 24-bit ∑-△ capacitance-to-digital converter is utilized to measure the capacitance of MEMS sensor. After the translating dew point to humidity using Goff-Gratch Equation, atmospheric humidity is obtained to complete the design of this water vapor measurement system. Measurement results show that the dew point error is typically less than±0. 2 ℃.

Bubble point and dew point calculations are the most important and difficult contents in VLE calculation in Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics. In the present using textbooks, only the computa- tion method is introduced without a particular illustration on an example. Here we introduce a method by which Microsoft Excel is used for the calculations. The known values, initial values and calculation for- mulas are input into each grid of the spread sheet. The fugacities of both vapor and liquid phases for each component are calculated. Then the powerful function of multivariable goal shooting is performed, with which we can easily get the bubble point pressure, bubble point temperature, dew point pressure and dew point temperature. The calculations with Excel are simple and intuitive and feasible for illustration in the class. It is a method worthy of being recommended to solve problems in both oractiee and elass.
