Objective To make clear the control methods of Euzophera pyriella Yang in Korla fragrant pear production. [Method] Investigating the control meth-ods of Euzophera pyriella Yang in the main planting areas of Korla fragrant pear. [Result] Farmers paid attention to the chemical control of the overwintering generation of Euzophera pyriella Yang, but not mastered its occurrence regular-ity. Most just controlled as the moth. But there was a big difference in the occur-rence time of Grapholitha molesta (Busck), Cydia pomonella (L.) and Eu-zophera pyriella Yang. The trapping ef-fect of sweet and sour liquid on Euzo-phera pyriella Yang was very good, but it was rarely used in forecasting and prevention of that pest. Fruits, brancheds phloem and trunk phloem of fragrant pear all could be damaged by Euzophera pyriella Yang. In order to seek for a evaluation methodology which is fit for the Korla pear maturity , the research concentrat-ed on the variation rules of the Korla pear''s hardness and soluble solids content and physicochemical index in its mature period , analysed and verified its parameters of the mean value and mean change rate and the change rule of variance . With these softwares like excel and origin processing data , Korla pear''s hardness and soluble solids content change rate and the variance between each control point all present the trend that the first increases , then decreases , but the peak value all appeared at the same time ,it is the same time when pear hardness decrease curve and the soluble solids content increased curve cross .Accordingly we came up with a method based on physicochemical index to evaluate the Korla pear maturity percentage , then quantified the results .The results of the study can provide a reference basis for the Korla pear maturity evaluation .

The author set different element deficiency for 20 years Korla fragrant pear in the field, and studied the variation of fruit quality under stress of nutrient element deficiency. The result showed that fertilization could promote the growth and development of fruit significantly. It not only could improve single fruit weight and yield, but also could improve fruit shape, red fruit rate and the contents of hydrolysis restore sugar and vitamin C, and then it could reduce pericarp thickness, fruit firmness and fruit total acid content. In order to investigate the variation of the electrical properties of the Korla Pear during maturation process , Korla Pear during the entire mature time were used .The affect that test frequency , test voltage and picking time on the entire mature pear electrical parameters was studied , the changes in the electrical parameters are analyzed at the same time .EXcelland SAS software were used to process the data , the results show that:in the measurement within the pa-rameters , the test parameters affect the frequency of pear inductance , capacitance , loss tangent value significantly , Pick-ing time significant influence of inductance and capacitance , test frequency less than or equal to 10 khz with the extension of pear picking time , the inductance gradually increasing trend , capacitance gradually decreasing trend .

In order to establish an method to rapid nondestructive estimation of fruit biomass in Korla Fragrant Pear, some basic parameters were determined, including volume, fresh mass, dry mass, longitude and transverse diameters of fruits, and so on. The top view area and side view area of fruit were analyzed by using an image processing method (Image J software). A quantitative relationship among fruit shape parameters and biomass was established. The results show that both fruit top view area and side view area have signiifcant correlation relationships with its biomass, and the correlation coefifcients are 0.94 and 0.96, respectively. The results provide that it should be feasible to estimate fruit biomass based on fruit top view area and side view area.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of sugar-vinegar mixture, black-light tube and curettage of tree bark against Euzophera pyriella Yang. The number of Euzophera pyriella Yang attracted by sugar-vinegar mixture and different black-light tube every day and the mean larval population density of Euzophera pyriella Yang before and after curettage of tree bark were tested in pear garden of Aksu. The amount of Euzophera pyriella Yang attracted by sugar-vinegar mixture was 1804 in 27 days and the maximum was 267 in single-day. There was significantly difference between the black-light tube and energy-saving lamp (P<0.05). The black-light tube with the wavelength of 425 nm was the most effective tube. The mean number of Euzophera pyriella Yang attracted by it was 6.83 in each day. Before and after curettage of tree bark, the mean larval population density of Euzophera pyriella Yang had decreased from 12.3 to 3.73 (P<0.01). In this study, the Korla fragrant pear in the mature period was focused to investigate its mature rule and the variation tendency in the physical and chemical indicators with the increase of the effective accumulated temperature, as well as establish the quantitative assessment method for the maturity level. The pears chosen for the test had no mechanical damages and no pests, and the sizes were basically the same (diameter of 55-65 mm), which were picked on the campus of the Tarim University, with an age of 12 years. The area was located between 80°30′ - 81°58′ E and 40°22′ - 40°57′ N. In order to provide a scientific basis for cultivation, breeding and identification of cold varieties of land race pears in Xinjiang, 25 kinds of land race pears were taken as the experimental materials, electrolyte (REC), malondialdehyde (MDA), soluble protein, soluble sugar and free proline (Pro) contents as well as other physiological indices under the low temperature stress (-18,-21,-24,-27 and-30℃) were measured, and comprehensive evaluation of the cold-resistance of 25 kinds of land race pears was conducted by correlation analysis and subordinate function. In order to learn application effect of plant growth regulators in production of Korla fragrant pear, taking 20-year Korla fragrant pear as test materials, influences of spraying different plant growth regulators at different concentrations on fruit characteristics and yield of Korla fragrant pear were researched through ifeld experiments. The results showed that compared with the control treatment without spraying any reagent and clean water, it could increase the fruit setting rate, single fruit mass and yield of Korla fragrant pear, and decrease fruit stalk length and fruit shape index, to spray PBO, PP333 and sodium nitrophenolate. In terms of improving fruit setting rate and yield of Korla fragrant pear, PBO reagents had better spraying effects than PP333 and sodium nitrophenolate. And 300 times PBO reagent had best effect, and improve fruit setting rate by 8.84%and improve yield by 63.41%compared with the control treatment.

The occurrence principle of pear moth in ecological health orchard were monitored with sex pheromone and sweet and sour liquid in order to provide the reference for the effective monitoring and measures establishment of biological prevention and control in health orchard (fragrant pear) and conventional orchard. Results show that the law trends of growth and decline of pear moth for the two kinds of traps are same. Pear moth occurs 4 generations a year with obvious peak. The emergence peak of overwintering adults is in the middle and last ten-day of a month. Because of the existence of sex pheromone in the ecological health orchard (fragrant pear), pear moth adult is more sensitive to sweet and sour liquid than sex pheromone. The sweet and sour liquid trap is good for monitoring the dynamic happening of the pear moth, and the accuracy is significantly higher than the sex pheromone trap.
