对计算微带电路S参数的改进谱域Prony进行研究,分析比较时域有限差分(FDTD)中波端口激励方式和模式端口激励方式,提出采样间隔选取标准,然后通过几个实际的工程算例来讨论改进谱域Prony的性能。数值结果表明,在非常小的采样间隔条件下改进谱域Prony仍可以准确计算相位常数和S参数。
The improved spectral domain Prony’s method that calculates S-parameters for microstrip cir-cuits is investigated. Mode-port excitation technique and wave-port excitation technique in the finite difference time domain method ( FDTD) are analyzed and compared. A sampling interval selection criterion is proposed. Several practical engineering examples are provided to demonstrate the performance of the im-proved spectral domain Prony’s method. Numerical results show that the phase constant and S-parameters still can be accurately calculated under very small sampling interval condition with the improved spectral domain Prony’s method.

Modern power system has become complex and the size of the nonlinear systems makes the traditional analysis method present more and more limitations. Therefore this paper introduces an improved multi-signal matrix pencil algorithm suitable for low-frequency oscillations modal identification of power system. First, the method of singular value decomposition (SVD) is used to separate the signal from the noise sub-space, confirm the order and eliminate the signal noise. And then through the establishment of multi-signal normalized experiment matrix, the matrix pencil algorithm is improved to identify power system mode. The ideal signal and simulation system are analyzed by using the original Prony method, the harmonic retrieval Prony method and the matrix pencil method. Results show that multi-signal matrix pencil method has high precision and a certain anti-noise ability. The roll eccentricity signal was complex high frequency periodic signal which is mixed in a variety of random dis-turbance .As the method of FFT (Fast Fourier Transform ) is limitations for analyzing the roll eccentricity signal ,in this article a new method is presented that is the combination of Root-Multiple Signal Classification (Root-MUSIC ) based on higher-order cumulans (HOC ) and Prony method .Using Root-MUSIC of HOC accurately estimate the harmonic frequencies and harmonic number in the meantime the roots which were obtained by the Root-MUSIC directly estimate the harmonic amplitude and phase by using Prony method .The simulation results and experimental results showed that the method is feasibility and effectiveness .In the case of low SNR it still has high spectral resolution and estimation accuracy and can estimate eccentric harmonic frequency amplitude and phase .The advantages of this approach is outstanding than FFT in the frequency resolution and restraining n

Voltage fluctuation and flicker are currently important research subjects in power quality. Effective monitoring of the two fac-tors is of great significance to ensuring power quality. An evaluating method based on Hilbert transform and improved Prony method is proposed to evaluate the modulating wave. The method can precisely detect the range of the voltage fluctuation as well as the modulation amplitude,frequency and other parameters. In response to the power oscillation issue of China’s interconnected power grids, the applicability of the Prony method, the autoregressive moving average method and the stochastic subspace method are systematically dis-cussed in this paper. Based on the review of their elementary principles, with the two-area four-machine system and the 36-node benchmark system as examples, these methods are used to estimate the oscillation information from ring-down data and ambient data respectively. Moreover, the influence of external measurement disturbances is also con-sidered. Finally some general conclusions about the applicability of these methods in actual power grids are drawn from the simulation cases.

Prony and Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) are two signal processing techniques utilized for on-line low-frequency oscillation detection. Prony algorithm is appropriate for processing stationary signals without noise. HHT algorithm has the ability of filtering high-frequency noise and processing non-stationary signals. The performance of Prony and HHT algorithms is compared from following aspects: accuracy, stability, completeness and speediness. Prony algorithm which includes the pre-filtering can meet the requirements of low-frequency oscillation monitoring, while HHT can be used for identification of disturbance source. The applicability of the two algorithms is validated with real power system data.

The two machines system model, which is in the same power plant or in the different power plants, was established on PSCAD/EMTDC platform. Combined with the test signal method and Prony algorithm, this paper analyzed the possibility of system sub-synchronous os-cillation and the effect of thyristor controlled series compensation (TCSC) inhibiting sub-synchronous oscillation of homotype and different type two machines system. Simulation result shows that in adoption of new bench mark capacity, the electrical damping of the same model of two machines equivalent system is about two times of the single machine system;in issue of TCSC inhibition of two machine different model system SSR, there was a need to design additional sub-synchronous damping controller for different generators, and there was no obvious torsional in-teraction between two machines shaft system in different electric power plants.

Low frequency oscillation characteristic analysis algorithms are used to monitor power sys-tem low frequency oscillation for the control of wide-area damping .In this paper ,the Prony method is integrated with variable projection (VP) approach ,the singular value decomposition (SVD) is used , and the separable nonlinear least squares are applied to identify the parameters of Prony mathematical model .The presented method not only avoids the problem in matrix inverse and larger error of the traditional Prony method ,but also reduces the dimension of the parameter space and simplifies the to-pology structure of the search space .It enhances the antinoise performance of mode identification and improves the computing speed .The simulation results show that the proposed method improves the accuracy and efficiency of the power system low frequency oscillation mode identification .

In order to obtain the equivalent viscoelastic parameters on the top of asphalt pavement sur-face ,a method combining theoretical analysis and field tests was used .According to the data from field loading plate tests ,the calculation models were established by using the finite element software and the secondary development process to inversely calculate viscoelastic parameters of asphalt pave-ment .The independent measured data under 0.4 MPa pressure was selected to verify the accuracy of simulation result .
