In order to improve the efficiency of cigarette hot collapse detection and extend the function of linear smoking machine, a cigarette hot collapse measuring device connected to linear smoking machine was designed. The device was mainly composed of a man-machine interface, an acquisition control unit and several measurement units. By cooperating with the mechanical structure and running process of linear smoking machine and using high precision displacement sensors and infrared temperature sensors, the device could real-timely measure the value of cigarette hot collapse during smoking. The multiple-cigarette measurement was realized via a multi-layer bus control system. The results showed that the P values of filter and tobacco rod of all cigarette samples were less than 0.05 and the combined standard deviations of each sample group less than 0.10, which met the testing requirements of industrial standard, YC/T 354-2010. A new method using synchrotron radiation vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) single-photon ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry for real-time analysis of cigarette smoke was developed by utilizing a home-made sampling device for collecting mainstream smoke and a modified Borgwaldt single-port smoking machine. Results showed that qualitative analysis of multiple components of tobacco smoke can be well accomplished by scanning photoionization efficiency spectra (PIE), although there were aging effects. In addition, commercial smoking machine combined with synchrotron radiation VUV photoionization mass spectrometry can realize puff-by-puff analysis of cigarette smoke without pre-treatment within a few seconds.

Compounds containing N element in particulate matter of mainstream smoke of different tobacco samples were isolated and determined by GC/AED.The particulate matters of mainstream smoke from 3 types of tobacco leaves ( typical flue-cured tobacco leaf , burley tobacco leaf and orien-tal tobacco leaf ) , different flavor flue-cured tobacco leaves and cigarettes with different brands were collected through smoking machine .The particulate matter was successively extracted with different solvents.Then alkaline extractants containing N element were collected and determined by GC /AED.The results showed that the derivatives of pyrazine , pyridine and tobacco trace alkaloids could be detected by GC/AED.The compounds containing N element in different samples were compared .The kinds and amount of compounds containing N element in the particulate matter of mainstream smoke of burley tobacco leaf were more than those in flue-cured tobacco and oriental tobacco leaves . Objective To investigate the correlation analysis of smoking on early outcomes in patients with coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Methods 489 patients undergoing CABG in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2012 were analyzed retrospectively. Subjects were divided into smoking group (n = 276), non-smoking group (n = 213). According to the condition of patients will quit smoking, smoking group was divided into two subgroups: quit-smoking group (n=81), not quit-smoking group (n=195). Results BMI, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, myocardial infarction, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease history were significantly higher than that of non-smoking group, the average age of left ventricular ejection fraction was significantly lower than that of the control group (P 0.05).
