Water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol film was one kind of PVA film, according to the degree of hydrolysis, which can be divided into two kinds, namely high-temperature water-soluble and low-temperature water-soluble. Due to limitation of manufacturing technique and other factors, the high -temperature water -soluble PVA films were wholly reliant on import. A brief introduction on the high -temperature water -soluble PVA packaging film was put forward. The methods of how to improve resistance against low - temperature water were summarized. At last, the prospects of production and wild applying were looked forward.

The polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-konjac glucmannan(KGM) composites were prepared by blending method. The attapulgite(AT) were dispersed into polyvinyl alcohol-konjac glucmannan matrix to get polyvinyl alcohol-konjac glucmannan/attapulgite composites through blending method with different compositions. Effects of amount of polyvinyl alcohol(compare to the mass of KGM), glutaraldehyde and attapulgite on the properties of polyvinyl alcohol-konjac glucmannan/attapulgite composites were investigated.The mechanical properties show that when the dosage of polyvinyl alcohol, glutaraldehyde and attapulgite were 80%, 3% and 1%, respectively (compare to the mass of KGM), the mechanical properties of the polyvinyl alcohol-konjac glucmannan/attapulgite composites were the best. The composites were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectra(FTIR) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Potassium silicate/polyvinyl alcohol inhibitor was selected to protect the borehole instability in foam drilling ,and its inhibitive properties were evaluated by means of shale self-priming experiment ,mud-making inhibition of bentonite ,rolling recovery experiment and hard-ness test . The results indicate that potassium silicate/polyvinyl alcohol has a good inhibitive properties .Finally ,the inhibition mechanism of the inhibitor was studied by XRD .The results showed that the strong inhibition of potassium silicate/polyvinyl alcohol to the shale is derived from the synergies of potassium silicate and polyvinyl alcohol ,in which sealing property and film-forming ability are the major factors to maintain borehole stability .

Polyvinyl alcohol ( PVA) is a biodegradable, water-soluble polymer which has excellent biocompatibility, easy film formation properties and relatively simple preparation and it has been widely used in packaging area. This paper describes the performance characteristics of polyvinyl alcohol, degradation mechanism, the various factors affecting the degradation mechanism of polyvinyl alcohol and summarizes the preparation method and research results of polyvinyl alcohol ( PVA) biode-gradable material which modified by starch, modified starch, chitosan, polylactic acid. In the end, it indicates that PVA bi-odegradable film of low cost, excellent mechanical properties and completely biodegradable film is the research priorities. Also, the PVA/nanoclay high barrier packaging materials is the main point for research.

Objective To prepare polyvinyl alcohol ( PVA ) /konjac glucomannan ( KGM ) complex hydrogel , and investigate the influence of formulation and preparation factors on drug released . Methods The PVA/KGM complex hydrogel containing berberine hydrochloride as a model drug were prepared by freezing and thawing method of physical crosslinking of the PVA and KGM solution . The effects of the amount of matrix materials and drug , PVA/KGM ratio , and freezing and thawing cycle times on drug release characteristics were investigated . Results Berberine hydrochloride could be released slowly from the PVA/KGM complex hydrogel . With an increased in the amount of matrix materials and drug , freezing and thawing cycle times , the drug release rate was decreased . When the ratio of PVA/KGM was 2 ∶ 1 , the drug release rate was the slowest .Conclusion The PVA /KGM complex hydrogel can used as a sustained-release preparation for berberine hydrochloride , drug release characteristics can be controlled
为了探究纳米Fe3+/TiO2改性聚乙烯醇基紫胶复合膜对清洁鸡蛋的保鲜效果,该文中将新鲜鸡蛋分组后涂上聚乙烯醇(polyvinyl alcohol)单膜和纳米Fe3+/TiO2改性聚乙烯醇基(polyvinyl alcohol)紫胶复合膜后,测定储藏过程中各组鸡蛋的感官品质、失重率、哈夫单位(haugh units,HU)、蛋黄指数、色差、pH值和菌落总数等,再对各项指标进行统计分析。结果表明:各组鸡蛋的品质指标在储藏过程中都有显著变化(P〈0.05);贮藏过程中纳米 Fe3+/TiO2改性聚乙烯醇基紫胶复合膜组的鸡蛋品质指标显著优于聚乙烯醇单膜组和未涂膜组(P〈0.05),表明复合膜对鸡蛋的保鲜效果优于聚乙烯醇(polyvinyl alcohol)单膜和未涂膜。未处理的和清洗消毒过的,聚乙烯醇基单膜涂膜包装后的,和纳米 Fe3+/TiO2改性聚乙烯醇基紫胶复合膜涂膜包装后的清洁鸡蛋,其保质期分别为20~30、50~60和70~80 d,表明聚乙烯醇单膜可延长鸡蛋保质期30 d左右而复合膜可延长达50 d左右;该研究结果为纳米改性复合涂膜材料在新鲜鸡蛋贮藏保鲜上的应用提供参考。

Industrial alkaline lignin-poly (vinyl alcohol) cross-linked film was prepared by casting. The effects of the dosage of industrial alkaline lignin, formaldehyde and the solution temperature, pH value and cross-linking time on the tensile properties of composites were investigated in a single factor experiment. Results showed that due to the cross-linking reaction, the viscosity of the cross-linked solution was higher than the blend solution. The optimum condition to prepare films of best mechanical properties was that the mass ratio of alkaline lignin (AL) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) 2:8, formaldehyde 8.8%of the dry matter, cross-linking time 40 min, the solution temperature 90℃, and pH 9. Incorporation of 20% alkaline lignin material into PVA improved the tensile properties of films.
