The themes of his works are closely connected with the life and history of Poland people,among which the serenade he created is the most romantic one. Howev-er,the contents of his serenade after his exile in Paris are of more sentimental romanticism and with stronger per-sonality. The most representative works of Chopin is "Nocturne in E flat major",which this paper discusses. With general tune but rich and colorful harmony and changing rhythm,it expresses the romantic feelings of Chopin.

肖邦一生共创作了四首即兴曲分别是OP.29降A大调幻想即兴曲、OP.36升F大调幻想即兴曲、OP.51降G大调幻想即兴曲和OP.66升c小调幻想即兴曲。肖邦的即兴曲与他的创作风格有很大的关系，他的即兴曲作品与其它的作品一样，旋律抒情流畅，具有强烈的歌唱性。
