Five different formulas of lotus seed hull powder were used to cultivate Agrocybe cylindracea in bags, and an opti-mized formula was screened out as follows:lotus seed hull powder 52%, cotton seed hull 26%, wheat bran 20%, and lime 2%. When this optimized formula was used to cultivate Agrocybe cylindracea in bags, the mycelia grew rapidly , and they filled with the fungi bag in 34 days;the period of fruiting was short , and the average yield of dry Agrocybe cylindracea was high and reached 341. 5 g/bag in 4 batches of cultivation , which was higher than that of dry Agrocybe cylindracea cultivated in bags with cotton seed hull;its biological efficiency was 68.30%.This study opened up a new road for reusing the lotus seed hull waste .

The process of enzyme-assisted extraction of total flavonoids from the lotus seed shell was optimized. Based on the single-factor tests, the effects of enzyme amount time of enzymatic hydrolysis, pH value and temperature of enzymatic hydrolysis on the extraction yields of total flavonoids from lotus seed shell were studied by response surface methodology ( RSM) . The results indicated that cellulase showed better ability of enzymatic hydrolysis. The optimum enzyme-assisted extraction process was enzyme amount 6. 5 mg/g, time 1. 5 h, pH value 4. 7 and temperature 46℃. The highest yield of total flavonoids was 7. 1%.

Lotus seed has very high nutritional and medicinal value, which consists of lotus shell, lotus kernel and lotus core. Because of the bitter taste, the lotus cores need to be removed before eating. The existing equipment for removing core can remove the lotus core fast by operating the coring bit. Before drilling, the lotus kernel has to be centered in the centering working position. The centering device generally consists of two rotating rollers. Under the action of gravity and friction force, the lotus kernel can be centered in the rotating process. However, the position of the coring bit is fixed in the centering working position, and therefore the drilling deviation occurs due to the diameter variation of lotus kernels, and the lotus cores cannot be removed effectively, which lowers the quality of lotus kernels directly. Objective To optimize the extraction technology condition for alkaloids from Plumula nelumbinis. Methods The optimizing extraction condition on basis of extractive yield were determinate by orthogonal test. Results The order of factors which affected the flavonoid extraction was extraction method>extraction solvent>extraction process. Conclusion The optimum extractions are A1B2C2. The extraction technology condition was simple to operate stable and reseaonable.

The results indicate that after 18 h, the content of crude protein is 19.95 g/100 g, which has increased by 1.10 g/100 g. Sugar is 3.77%, which has increased by 1.05%. After 36 h, the content of crude protein is 19.92 g/100 g, which has increased by 0.97 g/100 g. Sugar is 3.07%, which has increased by 0.35%. Microwave-assisted ethanol extraction is the optimal method to extract flavonoids for Plumula Nelumbinis.
