A key problem in graph-based semi supervised learning is the effectiveness of distance measurement between the vertices of graph .In view of this , an improved distance measure method is proposed for semi-supervised learning .The method can effectively amplify the distance between data points in different high density region and reduces the distance be -tween data points in the same high density region by adding an offset parameter .Then,a graph based semi supervised cluste-ring algorithm is presented based on this improved distance measurement .Experimental results shows that the improved method can effectively increase the scatter of inter classes and reduce the scatter of intra -class.

Lidar range image is particular information of lidar system that other imaging systems (such as IR imaging system and optical imaging system) can not provide. It is the foundation for precision target identification and attacking. How to denoise directly determines the accuracy of target recognition. According to the characteristics of the radar range image, a method was presented for streak tube imaging lidar based on contrast-modulation method. The noise contrast information of range image was extracted to modulate original image, so as to get noise image, and finally range image without processing was used to minus the noise image to get the image which was denoised. The research result shows that the effect of this denoising method is obvious and the edge information of range image also keeps intact. Obj ective:To provide anatomical basis for the application of surgical approach for the treatment of the diseases associated with petrous bone by analysis of the distance ranges of the foramen spinosum from bow summit of three semicircular canals.Methods:5 cases (10 sides)of intact adult cadaveric head basicranial dry specimens were investigated.The approach of electrodrill manual grind semicircular canals of petrous were used to observe and measure the distance from the foramen spinosum to bow summit of three semicircular canals. Results:There was no significant difference that comparison of between two sides of the distance from foramen spinosum to three semicircular canals.The distance from the foramen spinosum to the anterior semicircular canal was(20.59±1.11)mm,to the posterior semicircular canal was (24.39±1.94)mm,and to the lateral semicircular canal was (21.63±2.63)mm.Conclusion:The shortest distance was from the anterior semicircular canal to the foramen spinosum,

Based on existing distance metrics and the traditional spectral clustering algorithm, this paper proposes a new spectral clustering based on effective distance (SCED). Specifically, the proposed SCED algorithm uses effective distance to replace conventional Euclidean distance, by considering global properties of data that are reflected by sparse reconstruction coefficients. In effective distance, the similarity of a sample pair is evaluated by using not only the distance between these two samples, but also distances between one specific sample and other related samples. Sparse reconstruction coefficients are employed to reflect such global relationship among samples. The experimental results on ten UCI benchmark datasets demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed SCED algorithm.

Temporal distance, social distance and probabilistic distance are three basic dimensions of psychological distance. It has been proved that different kinds of psychological distance have similar effects on cognitive representations of events. In general, distant events are represented as high-level construals, whereas near events are represented as low-level construals. The existing geodesic distance transform algorithms consider the influence of obstacles,but the calculated distances have errors.A brute-force algorithm is suggested for accurate geodesic distance transform in a space with obstacles in this paper.It takes the convex corners on obstacles as relay sources to calculate the length of the shortest passable path from foreground pixels to background pixels behind the obstacles.The relay sources of this algorithm lie on the shortest passable paths from foreground pixels to background pixels,and thus distance errors are avoided,better than other relay sources suggested in the existing geodesic distance transform algorithms.Experimental results show that there is no distance error in the new algorithm,and it is applicable for distance transform in space with obstacles in any shapes.
