In order to settle the urgent problem that students'' level of character-writing is low, Ministry of Education advocated a character-writing fever. In order to respond to the advocation of the central government, local education administrators of all lev-els reiterate the strengthening of character-writing teaching. However, how to practice the spirit of the central government and effectively improve students'' level of character-writing is still a problem to be solved. Through methods such as interesting shows, hints in pithy formula, allowing divergences in the same and motivation by example, the writer has improved the effective-ness of character-writing teaching.
