In this study, the adhesion promoter AIR-1 was applied in the sidewall compound, the buffer layer compound, outer ply compound and inner ply compound of agricultural tire and OTR tire. The results showed that, adhesion promoter AIR-1 could increase the adhesion strength, fatigue resistance and lfex resistance of those compounds, signiifcantly extend the tire service life, and reduce the material cost.
研究硅橡胶与聚酰亚胺纤维织物、聚酰胺纤维织物、聚酯纤维织物、玻璃纤维织物、聚四氟乙烯及金属等骨架材料的粘合性能。偶联剂VTPS、开姆洛克608、偶联剂KH-550/A-151并用体系和偶联剂A-151/间苯二酚并用体系是硅橡胶与骨架材料的良好粘合剂,能有效提高硅橡胶与聚酰胺纤维织物、聚酯纤维织物、玻璃纤维织物、聚四氟乙烯、不锈钢和铝合金的粘合强度。在骨架材料表面处理胶浆中,粘合剂含量为10%,硅橡胶与骨架材料的粘合强度较高,粘合剂增粘效果较佳。聚酰亚胺纤维类织物与硅橡胶的粘合性能很差,只有使用开姆洛克608作表面处理胶浆粘合剂,聚酰亚胺纤维织物与硅橡胶才可获得良好的粘合性能
The adhesion properties of silicone rubber and reinforcing materials were investigated. The reinforcing materials included polyimide fiber fabric; polyamide fiber fabric, polyester fiber fabric, glass fiber fabric, PTFE, metals such as stainless steel and aluminum. Coupling VTPS, Chemlok 608, blend of coupling agent KH-550 and A-151, and blend of coupling agent A-151 and resorcinol could effectively improve the adhesion strength between silicone rubber and reinforcing materials except for polyimide ifber fabric. The optimum binder content of the adhesive was 10%. For polyimide ifber fabric, it was recommended to use Chemlok 608 which could provide good adhesion strength between silicone rubber and polyimide ifber fabric.

Formulation with HT1005 could effectively minimize the smoking during the mixing process. The experimental results showed that the tensile properties and heat build-up of the adhesive with HT1005, and the adhesion strength to steel cord were similar to the adhesive with resin B-20-S.

The thermal bonding PET were added to velvet by a certain ratio to form new velvet. Mechanical properties, transfer index and pilling resistance were characterized by fiber slicer, microscope, yarn electronic tensile strength tester, rolling box pilling tester,etc. The results showed that the strength of new velvet obviously improved after heat treatment. It was increased by 9.9%, from 16.90 cN/Tex to 18.57 cN/Tex. The new velvet’s pilling resistance also obviously improved. The surface of velvet was in order without pilling.

Amphoteric polyacrylamide( APAM)was synthesized using acrylamide( AM),acrylic acide (AA)and acryloxyethyltrimethyl ammonium chloride(DAC)as copolymeric monomers in aqueous sys-tem. Then,adhesion of APAM/starch blends to cotton and polyester fibers were studied and tensile prop-erties of APAM/starch film were explored. It was found that the incorporation of APAM into starch could significantly improve the adhesion of the blends to the fibers. The adhesion strength increased with the in-crease in proportion of APAM. The incorporation was able to mitigate the brittleness of starch film and produce toughing effect on the film. And it was also helpful to reduce the time required to break in water, raised moisture absorption of the film,and increased its water-swelling power,which was easy to desizing of the blends in textile production.

In this study, modified resorcinol-formaldehyde resin RF90 was applied to replace resorcinol at equal amount in the belt compound of PCR tire. The experimental results showed that the Mooney viscosity decreased slightly, the H pull-out force increased and the heat aging resistance was improved. In addition, the smoke and irritating odor during the compound mixing were eliminated. The mixed compound had smooth surface and had good adhesion with the steel cord in calendaring process. The high speed performance and durability of the ifnished tire were excellent.

The application of ultra-ifne talc in the sidewall compound of OTR tire was investigated. In this study, part of carbon black in the compound was replaced by ultra-ifne talc. The experimental test results showed that, the energy consumption of mixing process was reduced, the tear resistance of the vulcanizates increased, the heat build-up was reduced, the dispersion of high surface area carbon black was improved, and the adhesion property of the compound was improved.
