Results The revised content determinations of gardenin, emodin and chrysophanol were simple and feasible, and had high sensitivity.Conclusion Unification the quality standards of eight positive granules,the standards provide the basis for standardizing the market of eight-positive particles.

Objective:To establish a TLC identification method for orthopaedic medicated wine . Methods:Using TLC method to identify qualitatively the medicines in the wine . Results:The characteristic spots of rheum , angelica sinensis , ligusticum wallichii , radix vladimiriae , rhizome and jasmine were detected respectively by TLC and the negative controls showed no interference . Conclusion:This method was convenient and characteristic with good reproducibility , and it can be used for the quality control of orthopaedic medicated wine .

Objective: To study the in vivo intestinal absorption kinetics of geniposide (GE), naringin (NA), hesperidin(HE) and neohesperdin(NE) in Zhi-Zi-Da-Huang Decoction(ZZDHD). Methods: The in situ single-pass perfusion gravimetric method was adopted to investigate the influence of absorption site and drug concentration on the rat intestinal absorption. The HPLC was used to measure the contents of GE, NA, HE and NE. Results: For GE, NA and NE, their absorption parameters, the Ka and Peff, in the small intestines were significantly different from those in the colon(P 0.05), while the absorption of HE first increased and then decreased with the increase of drug concentration (P<0.05). Conclusion: The four active components in ZZDHD could be absorbed in the whole intestinal canal of rats. The absorption of GE, NA and NE in rat intestine appeared to be by the passive diffusion mechanism while that of the HE was prelimnarily determined to be by an active transport or facilitated diffusion mechani

Objective: To observe clinical effects of Qingre Qushi therapy on treating acute icteric. Methods: 41 patients were treated with Tuihuang decoction plus normal western treatment. The results of it were compared with control group of 35 patients treated by normal western therapy. Results: The treatment was better at improving clinical symptoms and recovering index in laboratory. Conclusion:The therapy was better than the western medicine solo and worthy of promotion.

Objective: To observe clinical effects of TCM granules plus synovitis plaster on treating knee synovitis. Methods: 52 patients were treated with TCM granules plus synovitis plaster. Results: According to Zhongyi Bingzheng Zhenduan Liaoxiao Biaozhun, cured 46 cases,improved 5 cases, invalid 1 case, the total efficacy was 98%. Conclusion: TCM granules plus synovitis plaster were simple and worthy of application.

This study was conducted to screen out some Chinese herbs with strong anti MICrobial activity and provide basis for developing bacteriostatic Chinese berbal compounds .The aqueous and neutral ethanol ex-tracts of 29 kinds of Chinese herbs were prepared ,respectively,and then their antiMICrobial activities against 10 isolated strains of antibiotic-resistant E.Coli and 3 type strains of E.Coli were evaluated by determining di-ameter of inhibition zone ( IZD,mm) and minimal inhibitory concentration ( MIC,mg/mL) .Three extracts from Galla Chinensis,Fructus forsythiae and Fructus crataegi had antiMICrobialactivity to 13 strains of the tested E. Coli, and extracts from Sanguisorba officinalis,Scutellaria baicalensis,Punica granatum,Fraxinus rhynchophylla,Coptis chinensis,Rheum officinale,Gardenia jasminoides,and Folium isatidis had antimicrobial activity to some of the tested strains;the IZD of ethanol extract from Galla chinensis was higher than 20 mm against all of the tested strains,and t
