This paper studies the flowsheet of "pre-desulfurization floatation-centrifuge preenrichment gravity separation-wolframite slime floatation" based on the features of a low grade wolframite slime. The test results show that after the application of the flowsheet of twice roughing sulfur removal, roughing-cleaning centrifuge preenrichment by gravity separation, then roughing three times and cleaning twice scavenging separating wolframite by flotation, the tungsten concentrate with the grade of 33.80 % and the recovery of 61.08 % could be obtained. The tungsten minerals are well recoverd from wolframite slime with the recovery rate of 64.27 %. The flowsheet is cost-effective and environment-friendly for reduced beneficiation reagents dosages by adopting roughing enrichment measures of pre-desulfurization and centrifugal separator .

On the basis of process mineralogy study, finely?disseminated rutile ore containing 2. 68% of RTiO2 was processed separately with spiral chute, traditional shaking table, double?waving shaking table, suspension vibration cone separator and Falcon centrifugal separator in order to discard tailings. The results show that, this rutile ore can be well enriched when suspension vibration cone separator is used for tailings discarding, resulting in 80.96% TiO2 recovery to the rutile concentrate grading 9.13% TiO2 , with the yield of discarded tailings excessing 76%.

In this paper,the applications of the Knelson concentrator at home and abroad and the principle of benefication were presented.According to the recovery status of cassiterite from tin-bearing tailings,taking tin tailings of Yunnan Province as an example,the feasibility approach to applying Knelson concentrator for the recovery of cassiterite in the gravity separation circuit of bearing-tin tailings were discussed and carried out.The result indicated that Knelson concentrator is more efficient than table concentrator for the recovery of fine-particle cassiterite.The grade and recovery of tin in concentrate are 13.6%and 58.3%.

Using microscope , chemical analysis , electron microprobe and scanning electron micros-copy ( SEM) , the mineral composition and structure of a low grade lead -zinc ore were studied and determined , and the process mineral grain size was measured .The research results show that the disseminated grain size of galena was fine , but the cleavage developed well , and the contact bound-ary with the surrounding minerals were straight , which make it easy to monomer dissociate in grind-ing operation , so it was conducive to the beneficiation process .Due to the low content and fine dis-seminated grain size , the separation of sphalerite was difficult .
