Objective: To observe and compare the curative effect of Kegel exercises on postpartum pelvic floor muscle’s rehabilitation. Methods: Selecting 200 volunteer primiparas who are wil ing to join Kegel exercises and to deliver a baby vaginal y in our hospital, dividing them into two groups, the observation group and the control group, to estimate the prolapse of anterior vaginal wal ,nocturia frequency and the incidence of urinary incontinence at the 42 days after childbirth and the 132 days, respectively . The indicators regarding vaginal wal bulge, the frequency of nocturia, urinary incontinence of observation group are better than that of control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion: Kegel Exercise is a therapy which is effective, feasible, simple for the rehabilitation of postpartum pelvic floor muscle.
